Mc Kechnie Springs

 Steinfeld is an idyllic town at the edge of the Dammer Berge. Highway B 214 leads to Steinfeld. From the Autobahn A1 exit Holdorf you arrive after 7 km at Steinfeld.

From Lohne, Damme and Diepholz the distance is 8 km.

Steinfeld is a relatively quiet town because the highway does not pass through the town centre. The rural character is still to be found

Activities are offered in abundance. Big sporting complexes, 2 covered sporting halls, open heated swimming pool 26 degrees, covered heated swimming pool centre, tennis court and a new golf course are all close by. Bush walking is popular in the Dammer Berge region. Bicycle and walking lanes 300 km long and well signe- posted are everywhere. Maps are available in the information centers .

Don`t forget to visit the local "Schützenfest" (1st weekend in July) and "Kirmes " with markets and marry go rounds.
